Application Requirements for non-Iraqi Students (International students)

  • The student must submit a certificate or school document for middle school or high school that is recognized in Iraq and approved by the Ministries of Education and Foreign Affairs of the home country of the study and endorsed by the Iraqi representation in that country, if any, according to the admission requirements for each major. The student must provide graduation certificates authenticated by MoFA. The applicant undertakes to abide by the conditions and laws of the Student Affairs Procedures Manual and admission requirements and conditions in private universities.
  • If the student is accepted into the program and does not attend after a period of time since the start of study at the university, his admission is canceled.
  • The student must submit None-conviction and medical certificates, issued by the School Health Directorate in the home country and certified by the Iraqi Ministry of Health, along with a certificate of vaccination of smallpox, typhoid and Covid.
  • The student must submit the admission application form..
  • The applicant should be a full-time student, and it is not permissible to combine studies with work.
  • After the students are accepted, ministerial orders are issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, and then the university ordinances are issued, including the names of the admitted students, and presented to the College Council for approval for enrollment.
  • The student must abide by the instructions for accepting international students issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education, and abide by the laws and instructions issued by Al-Bayan University.
  • The student accepted on the free scholarship is exempted from 100% of the tuition fees throughout the study period.
  • The student must meet the minimum admission requirements for the college, according to the choices shown in the application form 

The minimum grades requirement::

  • College of Pharmacy : of those who completed preparatory studies (scientific – biological section) or equivalent studies with a grade of not less than 80% 
  • College of Health and Medical Techniques: a minimum grade of 70%. 
  • Each specialization grants two seats to study in Iraq.

Documents required for submission:

  • A valid passport for a period of not less than two years from the date of submission
  • Academic documents certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the student’s country and the Iraqi embassy or cultural attaché in that country
  • TOEFL or IELTS
  • Non-conviction issued by the home country
  • Health certificate
